There was a huge out-pouring of support for the Cultural Arts and Marketing Department.  So many people were at the Oakland City Council meeting last night that it was standing room only even after they opened up a second room.  A fantastic NIMBY show of support was there, as well as the entire staff of The Crucible, and members of a great number of Oakland arts organizations.  The grant money given to art organizations by the Cultural Arts and Marketing Department is something NIMBY 2.0 will be seeking, and this department has shown us a great deal of support as we are working through the logistics of our move and finding the right space.
