Dear Friends and Supporters,

As some of you know, this past week a rogue-twitter circulated that we were about to be shut down. This is what prompted our quick response to let you all know that we were still working closely with the city toward a fully legitimate operation.

What may have seemed veiled in our last update was simply that we were about to face our first official inspection Thursday and did not want to compromise any of our exchanges with city officials.  The good news is that it went well!  We have been working tirelessly to ensure that we meet every code ascribed to our business.

The reason for the plea for financial support is that all these steps have cost a great deal and we are limited in how we raise money until we become fully legit.

There are still more steps to be taken. If you are interested in knowing more details, feel free to contact us.  There is literally a white board with the laundry list of tasks and they all involve money and talent.

We really appreciate all your support and look forward to continuing to serve the community for years to come.

Nimby would like to thank you for the support and concern that you have expressed in the last couple hours. It means a lot to know that the community continues to believe in our mission to make affordable space for emerging artists.

We are working closely with city officials to guarantee our continued success. Of course, this undertaking is not without challenges as all parties are operating with the best interests and safety of our citizenry in mind.
