A great time was had by all at this fantastic event that truly showcased what Oakland is all about.  How great to see industrial and light based art taking over downtown.  Thank you Oakland for have NIMBY be a part of this wonderful event.

Thank You Maker Faire 2009

We rolled out to Maker Faire 2009 in true NIMBY style.  We hauled out a 20′ container, Snook’s Deuce and a Half truck, welding tables, barbed wire, camo net, golf carts and, of course, lots of tools.  Jen lead plastic bag wallet making while Lex and Dave taught the kids how to weld.  (Image below is Super Dave with Jaya and her first welding project.) All around it was a fabulously fun weekend.  Thank you to everyone who came a had a great time with us - and thank you MAKE for a great event.
