NIMBY artists Jen Forbes, Jamie Vaida, and Feng Jing have just completed set-up of a new public art installation in conjunction with Very Public Arts. Oakland School for the Arts video artist Jamie Protopappas and lighting, set and couture designer Theodore Dawson incorporated NIMBY made sculptural pieces into this dynamic display aptly titled - Where the Wild Things Are.
Located in a formerly vacant storefront across from the newly renovated Fox Theater in Downtown Oakland, over the next 2 months this installation will be seen by thousands of passersby and theater goers each day. Make sure to stop by and see it for yourself.

We are very excited to be forming this partnership with Very Public Arts - this is just the start of many more amazing installations in Downtown Oakland. Don’t miss this fantastic installation.
In part of our continued efforts to support the artists who create at NIMBY we are always working to connect artists and artwork with opportunities - especially right here in Oakland.
